Websites built by people who actually know your industry.
We don't just design websites that look the part.
We create digital workhorses that bring in quality leads and get your brand noticed by the right people.
Your website only needs to do two jobs: wow your customers and make your Finance Director smile when they see the numbers.
We get that, and we're pretty good at doing both.
If you need a brand new website or want to transform the one that's currently gathering dust, we've got you covered.
We take care of everything. From making it look brilliant (that’s design, development, UX and content) to getting you found online and turning visitors into customers (think SEO and lead gen).
And we'll build it on a CMS so you can update it yourself without needing a computer science degree.
“Bigfork have been an excellent partner during our website project. They’re flexible, confident, and always back their recommendations with thoughtful reasoning. As a small B2B marketing team managing a busy schedule alongside a full website rebuild, we needed a web development agency that could work as an extension of our team, and Bigfork delivered. They brought best practices, calm confidence, and a collaborative mindset to every stage of the project.”

We've developed plenty of websites for the oil, gas and renewable energy sector. Which means we've learned what gets results and what's just pretty window dressing. Here's what we've discovered.
1. Design for your customer
Your website visitors have problems they need solving. They want to know how you can help them, not read your company history or mission statement. Yet most energy companies get this completely backwards.
2. Websites are not designed to get leads
Most energy companies design their websites like digital brochures. But your customers are now doing their research online before they even pick up the phone. If your website isn't made to capture leads and tell them what makes you different, you're handing business to your competitors.
3. Prove your reputation
Reputation matters in energy - but most websites do a terrible job of proving it. Where are the case studies? Thought leadership articles? Compliance credentials? If they're buried in a PDF, they might as well not exist.
4. The best websites differentiate
Industry buyers are sick of visiting identical websites that all say the same things - “Market leader”. “Innovative solutions”. “Committed to excellence”.
The good news? It's not difficult to stand out when everyone else is putting their audience to sleep. Check out this article on how to differentiate your website.
Many energy and oil & gas websites are doing it wrong. We did the research and found out exactly where they're messing up - and more importantly, how you can do better.
