After Gifted stores closed due to the Coronavirus lockdown, CandyMail offered an alternative way for customers to buy confectionary. CandyMail had great social media presence but no website of its own. We were briefed to create branding and an ecommerce website to showcase the CandyMail product range and make it easy for customers to order sweet treats.
The CandyMail identity needed to be fun and have an American feel, as well as working for the website and across social media platforms. The website design needed to be vibrant, easy to use on desktop and mobile, and have a simple buying process.
Both needed to be launched quickly. Unable to sell products through physical stores, CandyMail was an important step to continuing the sale of candy. Orders were also rapidly increasing via social media which was becoming difficult for the team to manage manually.
