Bigfork’s SEO and CRO work for Omar this year has helped increase organic search traffic by 17% and website conversions by 38%.

The Omar Group is the UK’s largest manufacturer of park homes and luxury lodges.  

Bigfork were appointed to work on their existing WordPress website to increase organic search traffic and leads, as well as general website maintenance. 

Increasing search traffic

Having worked with Omar previously we knew their product range and target audiences well. Our aim was to drive more retail (people looking to buy park homes and lodges) traffic to their website. 


An SEO audit identified that the Omar website already ranked highly for ‘top of funnel’ key terms, such as “Can you get a mortgage on a park home?” 


The growth opportunity was to increase rankings for strong intent, location based key words like “Park homes for sale in Dorset”. We created new website content targeting these keywords and optimising the Park Finder pages on the website.

More website conversions

The next growth opportunity was to increase website conversions. Our Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) audit of the website, where we used heat maps and GA4, picked out several areas where we could increase conversions. 

  • Calls to action (CTAs) were improved by not only making them stand out more, but also making them more persuasive — i.e., “Search Park Finder” instead of “Park Finder”. 
  • Research showed that the target audience liked to talk to people. We added more phone number CTAs alongside images of Omar’s real service people. 
  • Using heat maps we looked at how visitors engaged with park home product pages. This showed that popular content like Floor Plans, Home Specs, Image Galleries needed to be more user friendly and higher up the page. 
  • Finally, the most popular lead generator on the website was the Brochure Request/Download CTA. Over time this had been changed to be less visually appealing. We redesigned the CTA to stand out more and encourage people to get brochures.

This work has seen great results with a 38% increase in conversions this year.
